From a Belltown
Street Cart

It started in 2008 with a rogue street cart in Belltown — a rented propane grill, a beach umbrella, and Al Calozzi chopping steaks on a Seattle sidewalk because the city didn't have the real thing yet. Word got around fast.
Same chopped ribeye, same fresh Amoroso rolls, same guy on the grill. The "Donnie" is even named after a friend whose bucket-list wish was a sandwich named after him. Eighteen years later it's a Seattle institution — and still the best cheesesteak in the Pacific Northwest. Gotta love it.
